14/1 (21 BSP) and 18/1 (24.64 BSP) Winners Over the Last 2 Days
Comparing Results: The Impact of Ignoring the 3 Rules on Drawdown
This is a brief follow-up to the blog post I wrote yesterday about the 3 rules strategy.
Recent winners at 14/1 (or 21 BSP) and 18/1 (or 24.64 BSP) have completely erased the drawdown if following the 3-rule method, with a new high achieved after Game Management’s win yesterday.
However, when we disregard the 3 system rules—by backing all of our system selections and even backing duplicate qualifiers more than once—the picture looks quite different. In this case, the current drawdown stands at 58.68 points below the previous high.
The contrast between these two approaches is significant, with the scales tipping clearly in favour of the 3-rule method. It not only reduces drawdowns but also leads to more consistent, positive results over time.
